Introduction
Reflecting openness and community engagement, the Eastern Sudan Community Association in Manchester, in collaboration with various communities and grassroots organisations, paid an official introductory visit to the mayor of Manchester, Councillor Paul Andrews.
Meeting Overview and Discussions
During the meeting, attendees provided a detailed overview of their community work. The mayor warmly welcomed the group, expressing his appreciation for the cultural and religious diversity they represent.
The visit included a friendly lunch and an engaging discussion, moderated by the mayor, on the history of Manchester. Furthermore, participants discussed the importance of future meetings to share experiences and expand cooperation between the communities and local leadership.
