Introduction
The Eastern Sudan Communities Association – Manchester Branch organized the Family Iftar and International Women's Day Celebration event in an atmosphere of warmth and widespread community participation, with families, children, and youth from various backgrounds taking part.
The event was organized as part of the association's efforts to enhance social cohesion in the community, celebrate the leading role of women in society, and provide a warm family environment that enables children to participate and express themselves positively.
Opening Speech
The event began with a speech by Ms. Shujon Omer, a member of the Awareness and Training Team, who emphasized the importance of organizing such programs that strengthen family and community bonds and contribute to creating a safe, interactive environment for children and families.
She also expressed thanks and appreciation to all families who participated and interacted with the various activities, valuing the significant efforts made by the Safety and Security Committee in managing children's movements and ensuring their safety throughout the program.
